The banning of shawn95gt

Well it seems that one of the fine and upstanding members of the FTA and C-Band sections was mysteriously banned sometime yesterday. It also seems that if one asks too many questions regarding such, at least one mod, who will remain nameless gets quite upset. I would like to formally protest Shawn's banning as he has always been an upfront and helpful member to myself and countless others. I have gone through many of Shawn's latest posts and could not find a hint of so called "hack talk" or anything else that could get one banned.

I just find it strange that one of the most helpful members of the forum gets banned.

if he was talking about hacking, it is an automatic boot. and they erase all posts to cover satguys asses. sorry dude, it HAS to be that way.
if this site or any other site ( I'm on sky chat also ,and it is an automatic ban there also) let the talk continue, they could be sued or prosecuted for allowing it to continue.

the mods are just doing the right thing, and it is their judgement to make.

I thnk this thread has run its course. I have no idea why the person was banned. If you have a question about it please contact the mod who banned the person in question directly. As stated in a previous post, any hack talk has only one concequense. There are numerous warnings for newbies and no excuse for crusty old members like myself.

If somebody gets banned, the only person who needs to know why they were banned was the person in question and admin/staff.

If you want to know why someone was banned, ask them. Don’t make duplicate postings about it.
