Embed a photo from another site in post here, I tried the insert image option but it has never worked for me and getting any info from the vbulletin site requires proof of a license and I dont have any vbulletin books laying around. Still looking though because now Im ticked off that something that seems so obvious is escaping me and it doesnt help that the last time I did any html was 12 years ago.

blah

Ok this is frustratingly maddening now. On one hand there's info out there that you use "<a " then "
" while others say to use manage atachments and others say copy and paste the url and still others say something else entirely.

Ahh yes, that would do it. The reference codes. Those can be dangerous things for forums and can contain payloads or have built in tracking.

Its a well known site, the cheezeburgers site with animal pics, theres one that I find particulary funny and evil.

Heres the code that Im fighting with.

<a href="http://icanhascheezburger.com/2008/07/28/funny-pictures-we-has-cheezburgerz/"><img class="mine_1524205" src="http://icanhascheezburger.wordpress.com/files/2008/07/funny-pictures-come-to-the-dark-side-says-bald-cat.jpg" alt="cat" /></a><br />more <a href="http://icanhascheezburger.com">cat</a> pictures

I was thinking that I had to remove the <a href=" and pictures but it comes up a broken image here. Looking at it the code references three diferent urls wich Im asuming one links to another and to another wich I think may be the other issue?

Nope it would be....
