terrible pq and sound on local hd channels

I'm expieriencing terrible pq(pixelating) and sound dropping on all of my local channels. Extremely difficult to watch the football game tonight... DTV told me they were working on it and I had to live with it. It's been like this for 2 weeks...

excuse my lack of knowledge, i'm new to the forum. ) what does dma stand for and it's only on the hd channels. the sd are fine. I had a tech out here last week and everything is fine on this end

DMA = designated market area (aka what locals do you receive) this way other users in the same DMA can post their results/experiences to help you narrow it down.

Yes, it was a DirecTV problem somewhere in their Local Receive Facility or the uplink and has now apparently been fixed.
