That's what McGwire basically did, and he embarassed himself so much he may never be heard from in baseball again. But he won't go to jail.

You're right, but it was the fact that the union rolled the owners in that strike. All the owners cared about was reducing player salaries. When they failed the union threatened to strike over anything and the owners didn't want to provoke them over drug testing. This is what happens when you cave to a union.

Not to mention the Senators themselves. If we convicted everyone in congress that lied to someone in congress their wouldn't be anyone left.

The thing that pisses me off more than anything else is that they're wasting tax payer money and time on this. There isn't anything else more important they can be working on right now, like lets say............ummmmm.............the economy, unemployment, etc................

There is no difference between a steroid using ball player and an alcohol or drug abusing musician. It's all performance enhancing.

I say if a pro player wants to abuse his body by taking steroids so that my entertainment is better than so be it.

It would be nice if by this time next year, Steroids were no longer an issue. It would be nicer if that happened by the time this season started, but we all know that ain't happening. How do I explain to my soon to be 4 yr. old son the "juicing" era?
