I haven't read anything about the agenda for tonight. Anyone know? Will there be a Tech Chat Chat?

Nope nothing interesting except for the 922 demo. A lot of people in the chat were wowed by it but many said they still want numbers on their remotes.
+1!:up Including this old fart!

Maybe the Tech Chat was boring, but the Tech Chat chat wasn't! Scott and others were discussing the two-way remotes as a way to back up your timers. What a dumb idea! (That's IMHO.)
Anyhow, it occurred to me while thinking about timer backups that the new Dish/Sling remote access website has this information. Scott said, "No it doesn't." But I maintain it could save that information, and it should for the purposes of backing up and restoring timers, e.g. to a replacement receiver.
Think about it a moment. Your receivers (if on broadband) are sending a heartbeat to Dish all the time. When you connect up to the remote access website slingx.dish.com and wait for your receivers to show up, all sorts of information gets uploaded to Dish's servers, including most particularly your timers and the names of your prerecorded programs. This information does not go directly from your receiver to your PC browser. If you think it does, just unplug your Internet connection (and go local) and see how far you get.
This backup could even go further. Let's say your HDD crumps on your 722K and you lose all your timers and programs by swapping it out for a new one. If Dish stored the timers and program names on their servers, you could in principle use the remote access website to restore all those timers, and even download your recorded programs all over again off the net IF they were available anywhere.
Nah, content providers would go ape with that idea. But the timer backup is a good one. Sure beats the heck out of getting your DishPro 21 sync'd up with several different receivers on a regular basis.
They usually don't announce new channels in the Technical Forums.Any new HD channels announced? (Probably not--however, I had to ask.)
I worked 16+ hours last night(Monday) into tuesday and didn't get a chance to get it up, maybe this afternoon when I get up... I can put up something...Where's the recap for those of us that didn't catch it and have to work?
