The harrassment went farther that just at the game. One day last week the Indianapolis Star ran a story of how the State Police were going to be out on "heavy" patrol with unmarked Mustangs on all highways leading into South Bend, concentrating on the areas between West Lafayette/Lafayette and Indianapolis. Anyone remotely going over the speed limit would be citied. I have tickets for the Purdue-IU game in November and the only highway to make the 108 mile trip has a speed limit of 60mph and is highly patroled everyday. I used to make lots of trips up there when the Son was at Purdue, man you talk about a long boring are we ever going to get there drive.
