System Glitch

A few moments ago we had another gremlin pop up with our system. Basically a mySQL process got stuck and froze up the entire machine which needed a reboot of the system.

It was so stuck I could not even stop the process via the console.

I am now investigating further into what happened.

Ok figured it out.

It was a problem with our CHAT software.

So for the moment our chat does not work.

Ok the chat system has been restored.

It seems like this was an attack using a flaw in our old chat software, a few other vbulletin sites reported the same issue and the same bad table.
