I'd be a bit concerned about how some of the cables are angled. They should come straight out of the connector before turning.

Those cables are fine, as long as it's not a direct 90 they should be fine ...

Ranmic,
My SWM 16 is outside as well.
I just noticed that it gets pretty warm.

The way some of them exit the connector will eventually cause the cable loosen. There shouldn't ever be any pull on a connector.

You can stabilize the SWM-16 to the wall or surface with only 2 screws as shown in the picture? If that's true,it gives me a lot more options when I install mine.

Thanks to everyone for their input.

Also there was some slack in the lines so I don't have as much of a bend coming out of the SWM now.

That's good to know,as soon as I get the cut to length coaxial cables,SWM 4-way splitter,& screws that I ordered,I'm installing the SWM-16(SL-3 4 cable LNB) I have now so I can reactivate my repaired HR23-700 to go with my HR24-200,HR24-500,& HR22-100 DVR's,& H25-500 & H24-700 receivers for 10 tuners total. Only having to use 2 screws really helps a lot.
