We are new to the Hopper( month and a half) and have a question. We have the Hopper in the family room and the Joey in our bedroom. We use the Bluethooth feature to listen to music at night and sometimes it is spotty at best. Can I change locations with the units so I get the one with the bluethooth feature in our bedroom? Whould this be simply plug and play, or do I have to switch the coax outside?

You should be able to switch the location of the receivers and just hook up the existing cables there. You will also have to swap the cables on the Node that go out to the Host (Hopper) and Client (Joey). This should work fine as long as both cables are RG6 3GHz.

You would have to also switch the coax so it was connected to the right part of the node or it wouldn't work. It isn't the same kind of install as the traditional satellite receiver.

What should my signal strengths be?
