I've had dish for about 8 years and have been happy with my wireless remote receiver because I basically lite up the entire house by connecting the RF out to my house cable plant. All TV's played the same channel which was fine for us. They've recently jumped price again giving me some motivation to consider a "2 room no cost" change.
I'm considering getting 2- D10's and basically splitting my house into two sectors so I can watch 2 different channels depending on where you are in the house. (Basically, having all tv's on second floor tied to 1 D10 and all 1st tvs tied to another D10.) The only downside is the IR remote instead of the wireless.
Has anyone cabled the D10 like this? Would like to make sure that they haven't done anything cute from a technology perspective to limit the number of TV's connected via splitters and amplifiers.
Best regards,
don
