I have a Dish 500 with Dish Pro Quad LNBs.

I would like to use a single coax cable for both tuners.

Are there any other alternatives to using a DPP 44 switch or upgrading to a Dish 1000?

Thanks,
John

Not really. To feed a dual tuner with a single cable you need Dish Pro Plus technology. Your options are a DPP44 switch, a DPP Twin and you could get a Dish 1000.2 that comes with a triple lnb that can feed 3 dual tuners.

What receivers do you have that are currently running off that quad lnb?

That is what I want to know what receivers do you have?

I have a 501, 721, and a brand new 622.

The problem is that there is only one coax cable going to the 622 location and no easy way to add another.

Thanks,
John
