Swapping Tuners

I'm trying to figure out how I can swap tuners so I can switch channels while recording.
I have received some pointers regarding my 922, but am still confused.
I have an OTA Module connected to the 922 (TV1). Trying to change channel while recording.
Cannot do so unless I switch to SOLO. Then the other TV cannot access channels.
I got the manual but it did not go into any details regarding tuner swap.
I was under the impression that with with an OTA Module and 2 tuners, that multiple recordings could be made.

If you put the receiver in single mode, press the swap button, and then put it back into dual mode, this will 'switch' the tuners.

With the OTA module, you will have 2 Satellite tuners and 2 OTA. You would be able to record off all 4 of these tuners

Am I supposed to get any signal on the menu showing I have done that?
When I go to SOLO/DUO. it asks me am I sure I want to?
I say yes, then hit swap. Go back to SOLO/DUO and it still asks if I want to go to
SOLO. Almost as if it never switched over before....

I went to to SETTINGS and SOLO/DUO MODE.

You can also press the "mode" button the front of the receiver to change the mode setting. There is nothing signal related in this menu
