What is the $ sign mean on the sonicview on some channels?

$ sign indicates that the channel is flagged as an encrypted channel by the uplinker. Often channels are incorrectly flagged as encrypted but are actually transmitted free to air.

ok, that's what I thought..... couldn't get anything from those channels, although I did have great quality signal.

Here's another quick q. How come I am on amc6 72w but over my signal meter it reads ecostar 7 119w. What's up with that?

I've seen that before too

Not sure why it does that but sometimes mine does that too. Maybe a bug in the code.

What firmware version to you have?
