Hey All,

I'd likwe to explore the open channels on sat 101. Can I use a Superdish with center LNB ( is it universal? ) to view this sat? Thanks.

since the OP mentions AMC4 moving to free to air area

yes the SD wll work with most signals. Do a search in the FTA area and there are lots of threads on using a SD for AMC4 or other linear satellties

There are two kind of SD: SD105 and SD121, which one you have ?

Anyway, find that LNBF with letter "FSS" and connect your coax to it. Remember it is banstacking LNBF, so LOF2 is not 10750 but 13850.

I have only seen SuperDish 121's on the west coast.

I have a SD121 and the middle LNB is FSS. But, I am not sure what you mean by your notes in second paragraph.

As I recall SD121 is contain 110W/119W and 121W FSS Ku LNBFs. Last two are sort of Siamese type. Should be the FSS LNBF at edge, not in a middle ?

Correct
the FSS LNB is always on one end and is the one that is right down the arm of the dish. There should be a coax for "FSS" or the LNB will say FSS when you take off that cover
