I've been thinking of getting either a SuperBuddy or Birdog. The major difference I see in them is the SuperBuddy will scan and tell you which satellite you are locked on to, while the Birdog will not. Is this so, or am I missing something when reading the specs. Is there anything cheaper then these that will tell you which satellite you are locked on to (without running into the house to look at the receiver)?

The Superbuddy is more expensive, but anyone who has ever purchased one will tell you its money well spent.

Ever drop your meter by accident? The SuperBuddy is built like a tank.

I had a Birdog and the battery life on it was horrible, I love my Superbuddy and can't think of anything better.

Thanks.
