Anybody believe that? Seriously, 69% of the people are streaming? I don't believe that for one second. Broadband isn't widespread enough to encompass 69% of the people. I live in eastern PA and just got broadband last Tuesday. Just another click-bait article.

100% of people under 30 I know watch Netflix largely on their smartphones, and many of them do not have home broadband. Now that Netflix allows downloads, at lot of them will download shows at work on wi-fi and then watch them at home.
Also, the FCC reports 82% of households have broadband Internet, for whatever that is worth.

In my office group ~20 people every single one of them has either Amazon Prime or NetFlix and use them to stream shows. So yeah I can believe that 69% of people 18+ are streaming. My girlfriend's father 82yo is streaming MLB and NHL.He says: "While 65% of people have a traditional pay-TV service, 69% have at least one streaming-video subscription."

Which may be all well and good if you're within the confines of those establishments, but if you're not, things aren't always so rosy.Urban areas also have a lot of free Wi-Fi hotspots, put up by the major ISPs, schools, libraries, public parks systems, cafés, etc.
