I'm planning on subbing to dish network but would like some info first.
My cousin in the US will call up dishnet, subscribe, have the bills go to his house and pay for me (I will then pay him back).

My questions are:
#1. I bought some dp301-010 from ebay a while ago, can I use these same receivers with my cards that I get from dishnet?

#2. If I plan on getting a 4-room deal with 4 cards, do they give me 'free' receivers (or cheaply)?

#3. If I want every channel (minus PPV obviously) + Italian channel RAI + Arabic Super Pack, do I pay more for a 4 room subscription?

Anything else I should know about? (ie. can I avoid going through my cousin and do things myself? PO.BOX?)

You can only use Dish Network receivers for Dish Network service and only ExpressVu receivers for ExpressVu service even though they are all made by Echostar.

On the four room deals you have to have a credit card and the address the account is setup for has to match the address that you use for your credit card and a credit check will also be performed. You do not get to own the system under that promotion (DHA - Digital Home Advantage). On the FFA2 (Free For All 2) you pay $199 for two receivers. You may be able to get a 501 refurb for the same cost as a 311 and there is no DVR fee for the 501. You get 40 credits of $5 each if you keep your bill paid on time. That is a total of $200 in programming credits making the system free. You get to own the system if you take the FFA2 promotion and no credit card or credit check to qualify.

Dish Network frowns upon setting up service for those that do not live in the U.S.
