Just switched to DirecTV last week. Not having a ton of problems so far - just 2 annoyances:
1. TLC HD stutters every couple of minutes. It's only for maybe a half second. This is happening on a non-DVR (H25), viewed live.
2. On demand/downloaded recordings skip randomly. They'll lock up for 10 seconds and skip a minute or so. This is an HR34.
Any ideas? #1 seems to either be an issue with my hardware (LNB or switch) or a known DTV issue, depending on who you ask online. #2 seems to be a known issue with the HR34? Should I try to get on the CE program so I can get potential firmware fixes sooner?
