Strength level drops from 80 to 20 percent...help?

All of a sudden my strength level drops down to 20% and I can't figure it out. My dish was working fine on almost all satellites...with great quality/strength. But now for some reason, after staying on a channel for about a minute, the strength drops to right around 20%.

To fix it, I just move to another satellite and then back and it works for another minute. Has anyone ever heard about this?

I have seen it happen with my fortec and pansat. A quick power cycle normally fixes it.
