Are there any diagnostics I can run? If I replace it, is there a way I can do it without being charged for a service call? Is there anyway to save my recordings? I only have 10% free, so I would lose a lot :\
I'd try to watch as much as you can.
Then call DirecTV and state your case for a replacement.
They should just send you one and a recovery box for the dead one.
No service call should be required.
