STELA Expiration December 2014

STELA Will expire at the end of December 2014. One house committee has already conducted a hearing on an extension/substitute.

Clearly it is a bit early to know anything specific but how many hear think it will address distant nets, the superstations, or even the Hopper and it's accursed ability to skip commercials?

My own thought is that the superstations wil survive, distant nets will be restricted in some way and while it really is tangential I suspect that there will at least be an attempt to address the Hopper.

Oh well. I thought this would generate soe discussion as it did in other places but I guess nt. maybe it will closer to the expiration date.

IMO I doubt they change anything but let's hope they address distants where we can watch them but doubtful but bet they do something on the hopper

The way this government is going these days I see nothing getting resolved.
