Lots of hype and very little cigar... For some reason this movie and the previous one have never convinced me as great movies. Watched it this weekend and was the longest 2 hours.

I loved the first one, but when I went to the theater to see the second one, I had the same feeling - a LONG 2 1/2 HOURS. However, I watched it again last night, on a whim, and I didn't mind it nearly as much. Still not one of my favorites, but we are considering (my son and I that is) seeing the third one in the theater. But I think I will wait to hear reports from folks here.
I thought it was interesting that Starz HD played the film in OAR last night and in full 16x9 today. Since I am not a purist, I enjoyed seeing the movie fill my whole HDTV screen.

I also felt the second one wasn't quite as good as the first. I most likely won't see the third movie in the theater unless it gets very good reviews from other forums including this one of course. Also if the movie is shown in the IMAX format in an IMAX dome theater I'll see the third movie regardless of the review. IMO Imax makes an average movie great and makes a great movie ummmm I don't know a word that would do justice lol.
