The difference was that Showtime had stronger shows back then. Other than Weeds and The L Word, nothing has taken off. Brotherhood is getting good reviews, but it is another Huff that wins over the critics, but not enough eyeballs show up.

I am glad that Atlantis has been renewed. Its one of my favorites (and its not like my avatar does not suggest that! )

The future of Stargate is in question today, as SCI FI Channel has cancelled the long-running Stargate SG-1, Multichannel News reported today and a GateWorld source has confirmed. The news regrettably follows the airing of the show's milestone two-hundredth episode on Friday.
Stargate Atlantis, meanwhile, has been renewed for a fourth season, with the network hoping to see that the spin-off series can stand alone, according to a source.

I believe the only nudity was in the first episode where Sha're was paraded in front of Apophus. There was first a sergeant from the SGC that was kidnapped, but she was never shown from the front or from the waist down. Only her bare back. This was in the Showtime version that Sha're was then paraded around nude briefly. In later versions that showed on SciFi or in syndication, the scene was cut after the sergeant was killed and Sha're was never shown nude.navychop said:Anybody know anything about the comment in this CNN article:

I've never heard of this, but I haven't watched much Stargate. Anyone here know anything about it? Nudity in Stargate? That's one way to improve ratings- or kill them.
