StarChoice for French ONLY programming.

Hi,

I would like to get a StarChoice receiver mainly for French language programming.

I have both a DirecTV and Dish Network dish, so all that I need would be the SC receiver. What is recommended, as far as a SC receiver, and which dish (D* or E*) should I use?

you need a different dish & LNB. SC uses different setups than Dish/Direct

If all you want is French channels, you can get a single 30" dish and KU LNBF. The only thing not on the 2nd satellite (111.1) in the package is the 40 audio only channels. Those are on the main satellite (107.3)

my bad

a fair amount of the French Essentials is on AnikF1 (main satellite) so it might be better to get the whole kit with the dish

the French programming package is cheeper than the English one as well (I think)
