Starbox Usb

I just installed the Starbox USB on my Windows XP computer. I installed the latest driver 2.431. A couple major problems. It only gives fixed and DiSEqC1.2 as choices and not USALS. How do I get USALS as a choice? Also I looked online and at several forums to try to find out how to get the motor to work. If say I need it to move East, do I press the Move East Button once, do I hold my mouse and left click while on it or do I press Move East and Apply? I have my dish installed correctly and it has a signal, I just don’t know how to get it to a satellite. I was able to use the LyngSat data to manually input the frequency and such, but after that I am at a loss.

I am a total newbie!!!!

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Depends what software you're using as to what features you have available.

I am using Visionplus Twinhan DTV 2.431. I emailed Twinhan my same questions and they sent me a link, but it didn't answer any of my questions. I emailed tech support again, but I haven't heard back. I've had the dish since Monday, but I can't do anything with it.

Here's your fix:

1. Uninstall the software that came with your box, destroy the CD in a manic ritual involving heavy metal, chickens and Tipper Gore.
2. Go to http://www.progdvb.com and download ProgDVB.
3. Install ProgDVB.
4. Strap yourself on and feel the G's
5. Send $5 to max-wang
6. Come back if you have any questions (As long as you've read the instructions included with ProgDVB)

Burn it with copious amounts of fuel.
Get ProgDVB from http://www.progdvb.com
Read the instructions.
Install ProgDVB.

Thanks guys. I got frustrated and ended up returning the product and got a regular receiver and then hooked that up to my computer. I wanted to be able to record shows on my computer. It's up and running and it actually works!
