They actually filmed 5 episodes before they stopped, maybe a very short season.Talk about a Cliff Hanger! What's worse, the strike is going to delay the next season.
Maybe the will do an S3, Pt.1 & 2.They actually filmed 5 episodes before they stopped, maybe a very short season.
Agreed. Those 5 episodes are likely not broadcast ready, so while the strike continues, we'll be a-waiting...The problem is, a show like this this with all the post production things they need to do, have to do a lot of the re-recording of dialogue by the original actor after filming, ADR, that will not be happening until after the strike.
While not broadcast ready, they will have a head start on those 5 episodes, if they get the strikes settled by the end of the year, those 5 should be ready by summer, so a split/short season is possible.Agreed. Starz is doing this with Outlander season 7. I am not happy about it as the second half isn't expected until 2024 and that interferes with my scheme to do shorter-term promotional subscriptions.Maybe the will do an S3, Pt.1 & 2.
Using the video wall side steps the need for post-production CGI and allows what there is to be done in advance and incorporated in the shooting. Also, the movie quality special effects ( and in 4K/DV) , shows why it takes so much time from filming to airing.
Except for all the space stuff, doubtful the saucer section scenes had anything to do eith video wall, especially whrn it crashed into the planet.Using the video wall side steps the need for post-production CGI and allows what there is to be done in advance and incorporated in the shooting.
If you watch any of the making of, a lot of it on YouTube, shows how they use and implement DV.I doubt there is any need to composite to achieve HDR.
More like a mini series with only 5 episodes. They actually filmed 5 episodes before they stopped, maybe a very short season.
Obviously that doesn't require that any real elements be in the scene. Where live is mixed with CGI, they mostly render it to the wall and computers take care of the point of view of the camera lens.Except for all the space stuff, doubtful the saucer section scenes had anything to do eith video wall, especially whrn it crashed into the planet.
Not much to discuss outside of the overly thick accent.I’m very impressed that the discussion here has been staying away from Pelia’s best student…
It reminded me of the Kelvin Universe Chekov…Not much to discuss outside of the overly thick accent.
I had a similar thought. It reminded me of the Kelvin Universe Chekov…
