Ok lets start with the basic info. I live in Norhtern Delaware and get the local Philadelphia channels using a Dish 500 and a 301.
On weekends and a couple weeks during the summer I take the 301 with me down to the Eastern Shore of Virginia. About 40 north east of Virginia Beach. I have Dish 500 (yard sale item) mounted down there. I get around 100-110 signal for 119 and 110.
In late August and thru September I will get spotbeam errors during the day. It works for 10 minutes and gives the spotbeam error message for 5 seconds. Dont' seem to have a problem in the evenings.
I know I am at the edge of the spotbeam and I need a bigger dish. The main question is will a 24" improve things alot over the 20" one? Does 4" make that much difference? If so will my dual LNB mount to the 24" dish.
Thanks
Todd
