I'm new to DTV. I just signed up under the Sunday Ticket promotion which means I also have the Sports Pack and all the Regional Sports Networks. I don't have Center Ice.
I notice that there are many hockey games in the programming guide as showing on the regional sports networks. However, I am unable to watch any of them as they all seem to be blacked out. Can someone explain what is happening here? I'm assuming that I can only watch those RSN games on Center Ice and not on the RSN channels. I assume that since they are on Center Ice all of them will be blacked out on the RSNs. I also assume though I can catch the Avalanche on their RSN, Altitude since it is my local RSN. Is this true?
Will they same thing happen to MLB and NBA games? Will they only be shown on the respective Premier Sports package i.e. MLB extra innings and be blacked out on the RSNs as well?
