Sports blackouts

How to figure out why a sporting event is blacked out? On dtv msg is blocking out the syracuse game here in syracuse. Is it because timewarner has the rights to the game? My zipcode has timewarner cable, however my town does not have timewarner cable. Who do you call?

The game is blacked out on msg in chicago also, try one of your local channels.

It's probably on a local channel.

No not on any over the air channels. Just timewarners's cable that is not avaible in my town only in my zipcode.
