Sporting events timer problem

So when I set a timer for a Primetime sporting event the timer says it will record an extra 60 minutes, but it doesn't. When I think about it I will set a timer for the next program. Has anyone asked Dish about this? Non-primetime sport events automatically add the 60 minutes and it does record the extra time. Am I missing something or is this a bug?

It is a bug based on a test I ran yesterday. I set a timer for the People's Choice award show scheduled to end at 10 PM which is the end of PTAT locally, but added 30 minutes. The recording stopped at 10:01 PM. My guess is that PTAT causes this behavior, and the best solution is to set a timer for the next program as you mentioned. Another possible solution is to disable PTAT for any day of the week when you regularly have sports programming that you want to record that might run late.
