According to the New York Post :
"The Mets' new SportsNet NY, say sources, has reached an agreement

Well, now Cablevision is on the clock. I will certainly give them
time, and hope they reach an agreement to carry the channel. If they
do not in good time it will be bye bye Cablevision and hello DirecTV.
Remember, starting March 1 DirecTV goes to an all leasing option and
will no longer charge for equipment other than the monthly fee for
receivers similar to what we pay to Cablevision. The ball is now
literally in Cablevision's court.
