This past week I have had three different occasions where when watching a recording the sound suddenly dropped out. I rewind and replay from that spot and the sound has returned. Once I had to repeat this step twice. Is this just a fluke or do I have a hard drive problem?

So can I which is why I'm a bit concerned about the hard drive. In 5 years of my 722 I've never had this happen.

In fact, just now watching on a Joey I had two dropouts in the last 20 minutes. Skipped back on both and played just fine. I also notice I seem to get more dropouts when doing CPU intensive things like searching. This on the Joey happened to be when my wife was watching shows on the Hopper. And the fact my box seems much slower when multiple things are being recorded or it is being accessed by Sling I was starting to thing it was more a processing power issue.
