Hey All,

I have above mentioed IRD. I've looked and researched but can't find anything that tells me whether this unit has a digital tuner for OTA channels. I have even looked at DirecTV's user's manual, but even that does not specify. Does any one know? Thanks.

It doesn't - NO SD D* receiver has EVER had an OTA tuner...

It has an OTA passthrough to let the signal reach your TV via coax.
