some questions from after my install

I got E* installed last week, and I am trying to figure a few things out.

I have noticed when I bring up the guide for only HD channels, some local HD channels are being broadcast on 2 different channels, meaning channels 002 and 8000 something. Can I assume both channels have HD 24/7? Or will the 002 channel broadcast SD sometimes? If both have HD 24/7 how would I record a program on that channel in SD? Or can I not?

Also is it possible to remove the 00 from the 002 and just have it display 2?

As for the phone line that has to be connected to the 622. How often does it dial up? I have one of those wireless phone jacks, but it does not seem very reliable to I want to run a phone line under the house. But in the mean time, if I run a line to the unit, is there a way that I can force it to connect to E* to satisfy E*, so I do not get charged the month phone line fee?

As far as the local channels, the 00x channels are the same as the higher up one's, usually 63xx-64xx (the ones you have in HD at least, the rest are sd) they are HD 24/7 even though a lot of programing is sd. There should be a set of sd channels as well (probably the 8xxx ones you mentioned). If you go to the local channel screen you can change the mapped down channels (the 00x ones) to sd or shut them off entirely.

Not sure when the 622 calls in, most think it is during the nightly download. You do have several days before you will be charged. My 622 was hooked up for well over a week (had the notices every morning when I turned the unit on), I was not charged the additional receiver fee.
