Soldier Tribute on CBC HNinC/NHL Network

I was outside with my dogs when I came in & heard bagpipe music during the first intermission of the Red Wings/Maple Leafs game tonight. I saw that they were profiling soldiers in the Canadian Forces,but I wasn't sure what it was all about. Was it a memorial to fallen soldiers?

Yes. They do that on occasion during Coach's Corner. Very Classy move, IMO. :up

They do it every year around Veterans (Rememberance) day. They show all the fallen Canadian soldiers through the year

When someone does die, usually that next week they have a tribute to that soldier...

They are all sporting their buddy poppies on their jackets !
