Lost my confidence in this company for making me money and being able to keep its customers satisfied, the next step might be to drop the service for Direct TV. Funny I wrote Charlie about this back in Dec. and never received a reply :(

i don't think you are the only one lossing confidence in dish.

From Forbes, http://www.forbes.com/markets/2005/01/18/0118automarketscan20.html

The firm said DirecTV (nyse: DTV - news - people ), which it rates at "outperform," "has more upside potential from here" than Echostar Communications (nasdaq: DISH - news - people ), rated at "neutral," "owing to lower embedded expectations for DirecTV and company-specific challenges for Echostar."

this does not surprise me at all.

Funny thing about Dish, the only people I see happy with it are the ones getting it for free, alot of Subscribers I see are going to DTV, when, (& IF) Dish goes to MPEG4, I expect more people to go to DTV unless Dish does something to retain Sub's, they are going to be in trouble soon, We are doing about a dozen switches a week of Dish Sub's going to DTV, whereas, We have done NO DTV to Dish switches. Hello....., Charlie are you there? Can U hear Me? Do You care? hmmmm..... Guess not. :)

Am I missing something about Dish maintenance?

522 on one TV. Many questions?
