I was thinking about a new post about Sun outage, but now it is easier to add on some info to existing post, thanks, pacificrim
Tried to figure out how the Sun outage depends on various cities' geographical location, and there are some findings:
Towns located close to meridian 117* :
Spokane, WA - March 1, 10.31 AM Tonopah, NV - March 4, 10.29 AM San Diego, CA - March 6, 10.27 AM
Towns close to meridian 97*:
Grand Forks, ND - March 1, 12.40 PM Wichita, KS - March 4, 12.39 PM Corpus Christi, TX - March 7, 12.39 PM
Towns close to meridian 80* :
Erie, PA - March 3, 1.38 PM Charleston, SC - March 6, 1.49 PM West Palm Beach, FL March 8, 1.49 PM
Anchorage, AK - already had its max. Sun outage, February 28, 9.26 AM.
The more North we are, the earlier the Sun outage occurs.
I did not use the numerous web sites about Sun outage, just used US Navy site, as it is the easiest to use.
Cheers, polgyver
