Software Updates?

From what I read, I know this is an ongoing problem. Any word on getting the Genie clients getting up to speed? I understand it's a wireless system and will not be immediate, but my clients are horribly slow, freeze for a few seconds occasionally, and sometimes black-out and I get a "Connecting" screen with a horizontal barber pole spinning away which interrupts what's on. The HR54-200 works great and FAST, but the 4 clients are s-l-o-w. (1-C61K-700, 3- C41W-100, WVBRO-01 video bridge.)

Anything in the works?

You shouldn't get that. The Genie client will be slower than the main box (about 3 seconds for me).

That sounds like the wireless signal may be dropping. Do you need wireless for each, from everything I've read the wired are more stable.

Software updates for the clients go through the Genie.
