So Cal. (45 miles south of LA and no 81) I just received all of my gear (530 with 75CE) yesterday. Had a bit of a problem getting the right sats, I set the skew to 90 (instead of 80) and was able to get both sats at 75 (Ecb/No of 8). Still need to do a bit more fine tuning.

I have a sat signal meter and I was wondering, how do I know what Sat it is on (F1 or F2). What sat should I use for the majority of the fine tuning.

If you are using a Birdog meter you will have to use F2. Easiest is take the box and a small TV to the dish and follow the setup instructions when you find the correct satellite it will turn green and then peak. I can tell you that an Ecb of 8 is great.

mexsunny is correct. If you have Ecb of 8 on both you are very close, if not spot on, at your location with 75e dish.
