Will dish ever get this channel back? Its a great channel...

Far too little new content. Still. If they ever invest in the product more, maybe they could interest more people in carrying it.

Actually I watch quite a bit from my DIRECTV sub, there is as much or more new content as some of the other channels if you count content that is not "Reality"...

It is available via Roku,some pretty good shows on there but,not a huge amount of content.With Dish dropping WWE ppv because they started a streaming channel,I don't look for Smithsonian to be on Dish.

I'm sure they could revive it with a 'Here Comes Honey Booboo' marathon, followed by endless repeats of 'The Real Hooker Housewives of Whatever County' and a daily, live six-hour Kardouchean update featuring Kenny West ...

It's a CBS channel. This channel will at a minimum need to wait until Dish and CBS settle their differences.

Sounds like I'm not the only sick to death of this constant "reality" crap. Finding myself streaming more and more from Amazon & Netflix to find anything worthwhile to watch.:rant:
