Sling TV (NASDAQISH) has rolled its revised user interface out to Roku devices, bringing the platform more in line with recent changes to interfaces on Sling's other supported devices.
The move includes a new "filter ribbon" at the top of the screen to sort programs by channel. The changes also enhances functionality on the existing Roku remote controls, rearranging functions for channel changing and opening a mini-guide or full guide.
The move means Roku joins the rest of Sling's supported devices (Amazon Fire, Xbox One, Android TV, Mac/PC, Android/iOS) in using "Phase One" of the company's new interface.
