Sling doesn't see ehd

Moved my Sling to my Hopper that is hard connected to the net. When I load DOL it only sees the recording on the Hopper. It doesn't see the ehd that is connected to the Hopper. On my old 722 DOL saw the ehd. Is this normal or is there something I can do?

This is normal. The EHD will not show on DOL/DRA when connected to a Hopper.

Was a nice feature when I was traveling. Guess I'll have to pre plan and transfer anything I might want to watch back to the internal drive. Do you know why they dropped that feature in the Hopper?

Officially, it was never supported on any receiver. If it was working it was a glitch

It worked on my 722 like a charm. It integrated the internal and external hard drives into "My DVR"

I believe the 722 and 722k had a bug or dishonline had a bug that allowed it. I remember hearing about this a while back.

Wish more of Dish's bugs were in fact features, heh. Hopefully they introduce this "bug" into Hopper sometime in the future.

Yes, it worked on my 722 also and not on my Hopper....not happy about that. I have a lot of shows and movies on there and didn't want to transfer back to the Hopper.........Any chance Matt of this being added to the Hopper "officially"?
