After reading Scott's post about a new version of the Sling plug-in for Windows, I launched my XP virtual machine and tried Dish Remote Access from Windows (normally, I use Firefox). The PQ was OK, but there were audio/video sync issues most likely due to the virtual machine's unaccelerated graphics.
Anyway... I then went back to Firefox on the Mac, and fired up Dish Remote Access, and the PQ is better than anything I've seen before. Truly near-HD, which is what I've read from other posts but never observed since I started Slinging.
Is this a coincidence, or did something change on the Dish servers today (or by me connecting once via PC)? My 922 still has S109. and the version of the Mac Sling plug-in hasn't changed.
