Slimline 5 dish + Sony sat 55 receiver

I just upgraded a dish from the single LNB, to the slimline 5 dish. In the receiver setup, it didn't have the option for the slimline 5lnb, but instead for a triple...
Is it possible for this receiver to work with this dish ? I did a system check, and it came back good, so I am assuming it is aimed correctly (we used a bird dog on the roof)
We weren't able to access any channels either, as it was saying to call customer service ext: 721...
Anyways, I'm sure this is common knowledge to you guys, but I am lost, and appreciate your help

yes that receiver will work... you probably need to call direct to resend authorization 800-531-5000

The homeowner wasn't there (his "theatre guy" was) but the 721 code I thought was caused because they either suspended their account until the new dish was installed, or because the receiver was only plugged in for 30 minutes before we checked:eek:

a reciecer will deactivate itself if it has been unpluged for a while.... you can resend authorization with the automated system all you need is phone# connected with the account

Isn't ext. 721, channel not authorized, as in you don't have that channel in the package you have ?

You can re send the authorization thru the website as well, if they are set up with a D account online.

Did you try changing channels to a everyday channel ?
You should always get channel 100 and 500 as they are preview channels, so you should have a picture in the clear on those channels.

Sorry, I went out and found my own answer to the 721 question
