Slight modification of default thread template?...

Is there any chance of modifying the default thread template to move the hyperlink for: "View First Unread" from the top middle RIGHT-side by "Thread Tools", to the right top LEFT-side above the date stamp of the thread? A lot of forums have it that way, and it makes for easier clicking when entering the thread without always having to zip the cursor back and forth so much.

No, I mean when the thread is already open, the hyperlink for "View First Unread" is over to the right side, and I was hoping it could be moved to the left side as many other forums are.
