slaving the MicroHD

What would be the best way to slave an azbox elite to the microhd receiver

Since I won't be using the AZBox and the microHD at the same time, I'm going to try this..http://www.satelliteav.com/p/shop/?ws_pid=646&ws_cat=429
Right now I have both connected via a multi-switch, but only the mHD controls the GBox. I use the remote for the GBox when using the AZBox.
