Hi,

I just got a new SL5-SWM Slimline dish, and would love to integrate with my 36" Interntational dish pointed at the 95 satellite. I can't seem to find any concrete cabling guidelines for a SL5-SWM and the International dish. The International dish uses a WB-68 and the new Slimline came with a SWS8WB-P 8-way splitter. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

webnetwiz.

As a couple of posts have said, you can't integrate the international dish with an SWM dish. To use SWM technology with the international dish, you need a regular non-SWM slimline dish, four cables from the dish to the SWM8 standalone multiswitch which replaces the WB68 ( you will have to buy the SWM8, from someone like solid signal, DirecTv does NOT supply these), then connect the international dish to the SWM8. The SWM8 has two "SWM " outputs, these are just like the output from the SWM dish and allow you to drive DVRs with only one cable.
