Anyone know where to buy one of these? I am in Canada, but from the US is fine with me. Fortec died on me last night.

If I recall, the older 2.3 sorta does a blind scan, and the current 2.6 doesn't.
Is that about right?

Check eBay, and maybe even eBay in Europe if you can't find some in North America.

Since you said your Fortec died, and they don't make cards (so far as I know), what about replacing it with a nice Mercury II with free shipping to Canada?
It's got good blind-scanning, and there's a deal on now for members, that makes it a real steal.
