I would wish to watch SKY UK in Turkey, Bodrum area. I know the locals have 3meter dishes to get most of the channels, but my gear is a 1.3meter dish.

The dish is pointing at Eutelsat 28A S1 beam, 28.5E, 11565, vert, 27500, 2/3.
I can get all the EPG data, but the channels I would like to see don't work that well.
Those are:
MTV music channels
Discovery channels
SKY Sports1 HD and 2HD
These channels do work fairly well during mornings, but signal gets weaker down the day and picture starts to pixelate and loses signal at all in the end.
Is there anything I could do to improve the signal (apart getting a bigger dish)? Why does the signal get weaker during the day and becomes stronger in the mornings?
Thanks guys.

- bigger dish
- check / replace your coax
- re-aim your dish
- reduce coax length; put receiver at dish to test if its worth while
- and the one last thing that -might- help on weak signals: a PLL lnbf!
thats all I got. :)

Agree on "bigger dish" as "the locals have 3meter dishes to get most of the channels". Experience is better than an estimate on a website.
