i am trying to install a sky system in laguna hill ca and want to know if i need to do anything special to receiver to recieve programming i know i have signal but cannot get a picture, can anyone help???

dishpointer.com will give you the exact locatin.. if you are using sky dishand lnb you should be good to go.

if your using the new d12 looking box witha remote like directs you need to get the lnb the box is married to.

if you have an old box then any unaversal lnb and 39" + offset will work.. you will know you hit it when ch 100 and 960 are working.

good luck

I live in Socal 818 and I can get plenty of signal with a 30" dish that averages in the 90's, so no need for a 36" or 39"
